Thiis a vintage mirror that has a round wooden frame, eagle on top, and a convex or bulls-eye mirror. The mirror does not carry a maker's mark. Many of these were made by Ethan Allen and this one is of similar quality. The mirror is 30" top to bottom, the round frame 22.5" in diameter, the exposed mirror is 18.0" in diameter, and the eagle has a 13" wing span. The piece is vintage and has taken a small knock and t T are two areas on the frame w the gesso/gilt was damaged and overpainted with gold paint (shown in close-up photos). The gold paint on the round decorations that surround the mirror has worn away on the top of most. T are also a number of lines in the finish that likely correspond to the wood joinery underneath. Having said all of this, it is a vintage piece and has a great look to it: it is old, and it looks old. The mirror itself is in very good condition - a few freckles in the silvering and t, but nothing substantial.
