Large Vintage Hard Arkansas Stone in Handmade Box A hard black Arkansas stone, 8" X 1 7/8", set into a beautifully made cherry box, showing 5/8" height of stone. The box looks to be 75 to 100 years old, and the stone is in remarkable condition for that age. T are some chips off on edge. The is a very slight concavity along the long axis, and it could use a good cleaning. The box (9 5/8" X 3" X 3") has the letter C carved into its top.
