Description of item for sale:This vintage brass clock dates to 1983 (date stamp on clockworks). The clock is in the classic Greek revival Italian rococo tradition. The German (FHS factory) eight day works are in good, clean condition and the clock runs and keeps excellent time. If you want a trouble-free clock that has the right look but not the maintenance required with an antique clock, this is for you! The bell striking mechanism has a double bell and hammer mechanism that strikes once on the half hour and tolls out the hours (every strike is with the two hammers in sequence). The clock is in excellent condition, with no dents, cracks, bent parts or other damage. The Carrera marble is free of chips or cracks. Comes complete with key. Dimensions: 24" tall, 13" wide, 8" deep.
