This is a large and unique marked jardinere on pedestal. We obtained this item from an estate sale in Lexington,KY and it is absolutely magnificent and very heavy. We've been told that it is Chinese Export and it's about 40 years old. It measures about 21" tall and has a 16" diameter. The turquoise blue color is flawless and is matched perfectly with golden hued and highly detailed brass adornments. Scrolled handles flank both sides. An appealing Victorian floral motif on a white field, bounded by a golden border, decorates the front and rear of both the jardinere and the pedestal. Both the jardinere and pedestal are also trimmed and edged in brass tacks and another Victorian floral design--an attractive combination of blues, pinks, and greens. There is also a mark on the bottom of the piece (see picture). It's in magnificent condition and would make a captivating and obvious centerpiece on your dining room table, entry hall way table or coffee table--truly an heirloom piece and sure to strike up many conversations.
