This esquisite piece of porcelain is approximately 15" tall. It curves from bottom to top like a sliced melon, with an open mouth approx 4 1/4", for holding your floral bouquet. Translucent when held to the light, the top is trimmed in gold. The vase itself has lovely enamel stemmed iris's and other flowers, along with three rolling hills and a lovely shore bird pruning in the pink blossoms. The bottom is marked (as you can see in the photograph). My grandmother called this her piano vase. It is in good condition. Circa early 1920's. The moon and star is the factory mark and the dragon drawing shows origin as Asian/Oriental. T is also a Japanese flag in the drawing.
