Large Vintage Pewter Etain Zinn Pitcher-Fluted Sides This is a large vintage pewter pitcher that is in excellent condition and very beautiful. The pitcher measures 9 1/4" tall x 6 1/4" wide (across the round portion). The handle measures 6 1/2" tall. The pitcher does not have perfectly smooth sides. On the contrary, they are gently fluted which brings the pitcher spectacular detailing. The top edges of the mouth of the pitcher are slightly curved / ruffled as well. The handle curves into a half heart shape. The bottom of the pitcher is stamped with "Etain 95% V A Pewter" and also "Fein Zinn 95" Etain Fin." The pitcher is solid and heavy, weighing 3 pounds 4 ounces. The metal is in excellent condition with no dents or holes. There is only the slight signs of wear one would expect to see on a pitcher this old. Overall this pitcher is a piece of art that will be passed down in your family from one generation to the next.
