Fellow Treasure hunters we were recently in a wonderful house containing many fabulous treasures and discovered a large set of the most spectacular vintage German porcelain dinnerware. This is a romantic Bavarian Dinnerware pattern on lovely translucent German porcelain. Keyed for gracious dining or as bric-a-brac for smart interior decor, this baroque form is reminiscent of Old Meissen and Dresden. It is transfer decorated with delicate wild roses and each flower and bud is outlined with hand painted raised white enameling. It is pink with with delicate outlines of gold. Each piece is signed, tby achieving a true feeling of antiquity. They are signed Robert or deBec. They are marked on the bottom as pictured. The set consists of a footed coffee pot which is 10 1/2 inches high and 10 inches from spout to handle, a covered 2 handled footed vegetable bowl which is 8 inches high and 11 inches from handle to handle, a 15 inch oval platter, two 12 3/4 inch oval platters, a 2 handled covered footed sugar which is 4 1/2 inches high and 6 inches from handle to handle, a footed creamer which is 4 3/4 inches high, and a round 10 1/2 inch footed vegetable bowl. twelve 10 inch dinner plates, twelve 7 3/4 inch salad plates, twelve 9 1/2 inch soup bowls, twelve 6 1/8 inch bread and butter plates, twelve 6 inch saucers, nine 3 3/4 inch coffee cups, ten 4 1/2 inch demitasse saucers and eleven 2 3/4 inch demitasse cups. This is an exceptional set of vintage china and it is in excellent condition. Any white spots are a result of the flash. Thank you for visiting our site.
