LARGE VintageOld Signed Exquisite Enamel Flower Carnation Brooch / Pin Up for grabs thisevening is this gorgeous and very collectable vintage old signed exquisite enamel bouquet of flowers brooch made up of Carnations. It is really large measuring approx. 7cm in length and the clasp at the back is in excellent working order – however It has some slight rubbing here and there to the enamel but this does not take away from the brooch. Exquisite jewellery was produced by the company called W A P Watson Ltd. They began making jewellery in 1909. This particular piece was made between 1954 and 1977. The company moved in 1954 to Vulcan Road Solihull. Expanded and introduced the Mirella trade name of gold plated picture frames, mirrors, pens and small pill boxes. The name Mirella came from one of their employees. Crystal was introduced into their product manufacturing. At their peak the company produced 20,000 pieces of jewellery under the Exquisite name. Famous for their Birthday and Scottish range - beautifully hand enameled brooches, necklaces and earrings.
