This could be an important piece of social history, having purportedly once belonged to the late Benazir Bhutto. I will give you all the information I have in connection with the bowl, and you can make a judgment about it. I bought it from a gentleman last year. I bought it in good faith as having been owned by Benazir Bhutto. I have a printed e-mail from the gentleman, which states that he bought it at auction some years ago, from a collection of belongings being disposed of from the estate of the PM of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto. That is as much as I can say in relation to the provenance of the bowl. I will print a copy of the correspondence for the winning bidder if required. As to the bowl itself. It is a large piece, measuring 26 cms across, and standing about 10 cms tall. As you can see from the pictures, there is an ornate design around the rim. It stands on three ornate legs. There is a circular plaque attached to the centre which is engraved with the words 'PRIME MINISTER' at the top, and underneath 'ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN'. In the middle if the plaque is the state emblem. On the underside of the bowl is engraved 'G.SILVER', which I assume means silver plate. The bowl is very heavy and substantial, over 1 kg. There is no damage or signs of repair; however the plate is worn in places, and it would benefit from further cleaning or possibly re-plating. Any questions please ask via messages. I have other silver listed; please take a look at my other items !
