Hello, and thanks for stopping to shop with me! I am in the process of (almost) liquidating my 30 years' collection of vintage table linens. These have been safely stored for years in a smoke-free home. They are all crisp and clean, but will need an ironing. This large (64" x 50") cloth is one of my all-time favorites. If I had even one place to display her, she would not be at auction today! But, sadly, she doesn't match anything in my home, so she is here, hoping to find a good home that will appreciate her delicate beauty.... Lovely oriental gardens in shades of pink from light to dark surround a white center. Trees, flowers, birds, bridges, boats, and people - in every way this one will take you on a quick visit to a peaceful Japanese garden. Colors are bright, white is crisp and clear, fabric is a heavy, almost barkcloth - like cotton. Still has the original "Simtex" tag, which proudly tells us she was "made right in America"... Okay, now for her shortcomings. There is one area (about the size of a small palm print) that may or may not be slightly storage yellowed. It might just be a trick of the light in my room. I tried to photo ( see photo #3) but if it is there, it's too faint to show. Maybe in the zoom? There is also a very small white patch in one of the trees.
