Made 1917-29, Waterman gold filled etched design overlay safety pen. No dents, dings, cracks, notable scratches, or names on the indecia. When you turn the barrel end, the nib comes out. "Waterman Ideal 2 New York" nib is extra fine, flex. The pen mechanism works just fine. The pen's seals have not been replaced. This pen is shown on page 58 of Fischler & Schneider's book, Fountain Pens & Pencils . The original Waterman box says Waterman and Safety Pen.
