"Woman's Face" Driftwood Sculpture 15" high x 10 1/2" across x 5" across bottom Carved from 1 Piece of Driftwood Unique wood sculpture of a woman's face that was carved from one piece of driftwood. The woman's face and the bottom are polished smooth, the rest of the driftwood was left natural for excellent contrast and has been somewhat smoothed by waves and sand. The natural portion of the sculpture still has some grains of white sand embedded in the wood, not a lot but enough to highlight the detail of the driftwood's natural texture. I'm not sure what type of wood it was carved from but the pattern of the grain is exceptional and it was beautifully incorporated into the design of the sculpture. This one of a kind carving is in wonderful original condition; no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs to the carved portion of the sculpture, and the natural portion is still as found. I've just lightly wiped it down with orange oil for wood, and will leave any additional cleaning or polishing up to the buyer's discretion.
