For auction is a large sized WW I Silver Cased OMEGA Officers Trench Watch in top working condition It's fitted with a very good quality Omega signed lever movement which runs smoothly and keeps very good time. The case is hallmarked for London 1911/12 and bares the importers initials SA in a Diamond border. I believe this stands for the Selling Agency company, first registered in 1907 as Gold & Silver Watch importers. It also bares the early Omega stamp which is quite worn but easily visible. It also has an inner hinged dust cover. The case measures 26mm in diameter excluding the winding crown. The dial is enamel and has several hairline cracks which can be seen in the photographs. The numerals are of Roman style with the 12 highlighted in red. It comes fitted with a good quality period brown leather strap which is definately of that period.
