American, probably Ohio, mid-19th century. Hollow molded seated form on an oval base, with deeply molded fur, open front legs, and incised details, with older repaint; 13" high x 10" long x 6.75" deep. Ex Collection of Dr. David C. Schwartz of Indian Hill, Ohio Condition: Some paint loss to base.
