ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. This week we have listed some of our Finest and Rarest examples we have ever offered online from our Private Collection. You Very Rarely see Collections like this come up for auction online, and all starting low with No Reserve. Alot of the items took us many years to find, and they are the only examples like them we have seen. If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low, usually under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Rare Large c1790 Georgian Silver Sheffield Plate Armorial Lion Handled Samovar Urn. The Samovar is part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. One of our main interests in collecting over the years has been Period Sheffield Plate examples, which you will find a couple more examples also listed in our other items. You do see alot of pieces online calling themselves Sheffield Plate, but Very Few period examples like this up for auction. The Samovar is also one of the Finest Quality and Most Impressive Samovars we have seen from any period, we are sure being a Very Rare find. As you can see the Samovar has a nice early Georgian Period design. The Samovar also has Great Large Lion Mask Ringed Handles, with some Amazing Details as you can see. The Legs also Curve down to Large Fured Claw Lion Feet as you can see. The Base also has a nice design along with Cannonball Feet. The Samovar is also in fine original condition showing some light wear to the high spots, as it should being an Authentic Sheffield Plate example and has no dints, cracks, or repairs. The Samovar also has no holes, or leaks, an the Tap works perfectly with no drips. As you can see t is a small piece missing off the top of the Tap handle, which I am sure would not be to hard to replace. The Samovar also has its Original Burner as you can see, which is also in nice original condition. The Samovar is also nice and Clean inside. The Samovar is also a Large Impressive Size Standing 18 inches tall, by 11 inches wide. You can also see signes of the Samovar being Completely Hand Made throughout, and also having folded over rims as it should have being a Sheffield Plate example. The Samovar is unmakred as most period examples are not. The Samovar is also inlaid with a Solid Silver Plaque in the front, which you find on the Finer Quality period examples for engraving Family Crests and Armorials. The Period Crest or Armorial on the front also has a nice Unique design as you can see. I have no idea what the Fine Rare c1790 Georgian Silver Sheffield Plate Samovar would be worth. You do not see to many examples of this quality come up for auction. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
