LARGEST SCENERY CLOISONNÃ% TILE PORCELEYNE FLES DELFT Very large cloisonné tile of the famous factory in Delft -The only remaining faience factory in Delft from the many that started in the 17th century in this small town in Holland-. It depicts a lovely view on the town of Delft as it looked in the early 20 Century from the water "Schie" that runs along it. It is in excellent condition. Very rare tile with no damage or repairs. For accuracy's sake I mention the little wear at the backside at the holes to hang the tile, probably from the wire with which it was hung, a very small tension line of less than 1/4 inch is t as well. Absolutely nothing serious, please see the photo's I made of it. Tile has impressed the logo of the Porceleyne Fles in Delft on the reverse. Dimensions: approx 17 x 6.5 inches or 43.5 x 17 cm! Happy bidding! This item will be packed to a high standard using bubble wrap and double boxed. Also it will be sandwiched between two pieces of 3/4 inch Plywood.
