PLEASE ALL OF THE OTHER BEAUTIFUL, NEW, OR FULLY RESTORED AND RECONDITIONED HIGH GRADE COLLECTIBLE PIPES THAT I HAVE LISTED FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK ON EBAY! You are bidding on a BRAND NEW, JUST CARVED, & UNSMOKED rich chocolate brown stained, with reddish tan highlights, sandblasted bent "Bent Danish Oval Dublin" shaped pipe, with a beautiful multi colored hand cut horn stem stem extension band, and a smooth domed bowl rim, by the Danish pipe carver Lasse Skovgaard. Lasse is the talented son of Mr. Benni Jorgensen. Benni and Lasse both have carved for W.Ø. Larsen in their final few years of operation. This gorgeous pipe just recently arrived from Lasse's workshop Denmark! It is as brand new as it gets!!! I had commissioned Lasse to craft a series of pipes for "Coopersark" that were similar to the old classic Sixten Ivarsson pipes of the late 1950's and early 1960's. I had sent him pages of the old Pipe Dan and Larsen Catalogs that displayed Ivarsson's pipes. I believe that the pipe market is craving these simplistic, yet organic looking light weight classics of yesteryear, without having to spend thousands of dollars for an original. This is a pipe from that series. This is as close as you will get to a 1960's Sixten Ivarsson pipe in its original condition without actually having one! It is new but looks decades old! This gorgeous looking pipe, with its highly detailed and contrasted sandblasting, is perfectly balanced, with a low center of gravity. The hand feel is very comfortable. The stem was hand crafted from top grade German ebonite. It is nice and thin and will be very comfortable in the mouth. The draft is effortless and a pipe cleaner will pass to the bottom of the bowl. This pipe comes with its original pipe bag. Here are the dimensions: The overall length is about 5.975”. The bowl height is about 2.0”. The tobacco chamber is about 0.825” in diameter and tapers down the bowl’s 1.70" slightly angled inner depth. This pipe has capacity that is about the same as a solid Group 5 size Dunhill pipe. This beautiful pipe weighs just 40 grams, but feels even lighter than that.Once again, this is a ( 10 )TEN-DAY( 10 ) no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices.
