This panel is another lovely quality Silk from a vintage unused Kimono Roll so no seam lines! This is a gorgeous Meisen Ikat, ie the threads are pre-dyed and the design woven in. Light, Crisp Silk delightful to the hand with a subtle slub and a firm crisp drape. Gorgeous colours - Raspberry and Lemon with a bit of Silvery Grey, in a restrained stylised floral emblem . Great condition too, though this is a vintage piece - just the minor weave faults intrinsic to a handwoven silk of this type and giving it character and authenticity..The panel is 14 ins wide x 52 ins long. LONG and delicious colours.LAST piece. I unpick them very carefully, but by their nature there may be fine pinholes along the seam line & some minor colour change across the seam line - read more
