A very nice authentic example of a late 1800's nautical sextant. one scope remains & mirror adjustment tool is present. I could not locate a maker mark anyw on the sextant or box. Ivory scales are in excellent condition with all graduations clear & no cracks. all attached filters in good condition with no cracks. no problems with mirrors, could use cleaning. Box has cracks in wood, bottom loose and latch on front missing. with cleaning and adjustment it is fully functional. it would give the user a good appreciation of modern sextants! A great piece of nautical history.
