Late 1920âe(tm)s Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Company "Masterphone" non- dial (early operator connected, can now be used as an extension phone) desk model telephone in very good all original condition. Made of black colored heavy Bakelite, has the original brown cloth cords which are in excellent unfrayed condition, the wall cord even has the original terminals and company tag. The handset has a "privacy cup" over the transmitter side with the company name cast in, base has the Kellogg Co. logo cast in the front and the Masterphone tag fastened to the back. Bottom plate has the original felt cover. The overall measurements are approximately 4 1/2 inches high x 9 1/2 inches long x 4 1/4 inches deep. The only flaws that I see is a shallow crack on the inside bottom seam of the handset, and a 3/4 inch long shallow crack on the back of the base (please see pictures). The cracks can be easily filled & painted if desired. The phone was being used as a display for years by a collector and is untested. A nice rare early phone, great for your collection or posible use! Selling AS-IS, no reserve. **U.S.A. Buyers** pay 5 lbs. USPS Priority or First Class shipping from Zip Code 06712. I will ship in a box with secure padding, I don't charge handling fees or add extra charges for shipping. Payment must be received within 7 business days of auction end unless other arrangements are made. Payment by Pay Pal ( Pay Pal preferred ) or money order ships in up to four business days (Monday through Friday) after I receive payment due to my unpredictable work schedule. Sorry, no personal checks. CT buyers must add 6% sales tax, or supply a copy of your resale certificate. **INTERNATIONAL BUYERS** Please email your address for shipping charge at auction end, and payment must be by Pay Pal ONLY. Packages must be shipped using Priority International with insurance for a 5 pound package. (Please use the shipping calculator on this page, or BEFORE BIDDING ).
