Late 19th c. Intricate .800 Silver Frame & Hand-Painted Miniature Cameo Pin c.1880s-90s - Likely German or Italian - Amazing Quality! Item Specifics : You are bidding on an absolutely gorgeous example of an unusual, "smaller scale" and TRUE "antique" (c.1880s-90s "Art Nouveau" Era), .800 silver frame and hand-painted miniature cameo pin. Again, this unusual pin houses an artist signed and hand-painted "Venetian" (Italian) or "Bohemian" (German) shrouded woman cameo under glass, within a delicate, ornate and textured "solid silver" filigree frame displaying exquisite fine metal craftsmanship and attention-to-detail. Pin features a standard, straight bar closure, with soldered bale at reverse allowing wearer to utilize this fantastic and unusual piece as a pendant should they desire. As far as I can tell, this piece is "unsigned", bearing the standard and engraved ".800" mark as photographed for detail, along with the artist's initials to the left of the hand-painted cameo which appear to read "E .3".
