this is a Late War Japanese Arisaka Bayonet. T is minor pitting on the tip, other the blade and all metal has no rust and no pitting., the scabbard is dented 6" from the hilt, on both sides. The scabbard finish has turned plum with some light surface rust, the metal on the hilt and handle matches this. The wood grips are sound with no chips or cracks. The # 28 is stamped on the right grip.
