Late 1800's French Painted Pine Two Door, Five Drawer Shelved Cabinet / Bookcase ** Note this item is relisted yet again because scammers who buy on ebay and then don't pay for merchandise have purchased it buy it now. Don't bid on this item unless you intend to pay for it I am not sending it out with a shipper until I have the good funds in hand and if you are trying to pull a scam you will be turned into Ebay, caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law*** I am a very busy and trustworthy seller trying to sell a great piece that has had a lot of interest from genuine buyers interested in getting it for Christmas and getting tired of people buying my pieces outright with buy it now and asking that I ship to them while they send me a MO. This takes my auction down and I am not going to let the pieces out the door till I have the good payment in hand, so don't even think about pulling it again. As well as all the trouble I have to go through with Ebay to get refunded. This is the Second time this week!** I also have blocked new buyers and people with no feed back if you are indeed interested in this item (as it is very popular and will be sold) and are new to ebay or don't have a lot of feedback yet email me first and we will talk. Sorry to be so abrupt and blunt but after running this twice only to be bought but scammers I want to sell the item to someone wanting to indeed pay for it and have it delivered and most want it for Christmas! Thank you to everyone for all the emails I have received, for your support and help in getting these people caught! ** Really Beautiful and Unique piece purchased in France this summer, Has been in France for years but may have been built in somew else in Eastern Europe. The person I bought it from in Marseille put the original built date at late 1800's to very early 1900's not later than say 1905. Piece has two glass door cabinets that are 11 1/2" deep and three shelves; two, that are 11 1/2" deep and bottom one at bottom that is 19" deep and has a lip. The depth at the deepest point (bottom) with knobs is 22 1/2". T are five drawers; four at top and one large 19 1/2" deep one at bottom. The piece is 74" tall and 46" wide at widest point the top with side crown molding. It has been recently (in the last five-10 years) been restored with all bad wood sanded out and or replaced, knot holes in pine on back filled, They replace the two top shelves I think, and used what looks like old but freshly sanded wood. The top cabinet and shelves are all sanded out and natural while the outside is this really beautiful french blue paint with wax over it. T is natural distressing from age and wear. It looks as if the piece was originally beige then dark green and now a great french blue. The inside could be easily be painted to match the outside if you like. The back is original with older more worn but still solid wood at bottom all knot holes in pine have been filled, t is a ledge for a shelf to be added inside both cabinets at top. The glass on cabinet doors has this great star burst deep etching in center. Both top cabinets lock. Locks and keys are original. T is carving at top corners of a leaf design and fluted molding down both side edges as well as block finals at bottom corners and crown molding at top.(See all pictures.) Gorgeous and versatile piece could be used in kitchen for open display or to hold dishes and pots and cooking staples. In child's room for books and toys or in bath as shown with towels and frames and bath items? In hall, entry or with frames and to display decorative items. In mud room as catch all and storage?- Almost anyw! Everyone that has seen this piece has commented on its versatility and varied use. **** Please note we are offering free delivery with in 500 miles one way of our location if buy it now is used*** You will be delivered for Christmas!
