Here is a beautiful edition of The Later Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This is “a definitive text, corrected and edited by Edgar W. Smith; illustrated with a selective collation of the original illustrations by Frederic Dorr Steele, Sidney Paget & others.” The book is published by The Easton Press, Norwalk, Connecticut, 1980. The book has a lovely very deep blue leather binding with gilt lettering and details and gilt-edged pages. It measures 6.25 inches by 9inches. Inside is silk moire in a melon color and a ribbon bookmark. The book looks brand new. I will be listing more of these fine books over the next few weeks.
