Beautiful Mid-Century Signed Pottery Table Lamp Jim Lauer, Kansas City Artist
You are looking at a wonderful pottery table lamp, signed by Kansas City artist Jim Lauer. It is in excellent condition with no issues, and the lamp works.
The lamp is 18 1/2" high from the bottom of the base to the top of the socket. The base has a 7 1/4" diameter. Currently there is an 8" harp on the lamp.
The pottery has a glossy glaze. The colors are a gray stone with brown flecks. The top has concentric circles of blue, copper, and brown.
"Lauer" is incised in the bottom of the base.
Jim Lauer is a Kansas City-based artist. He graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1970. He uses only stoneware clay.
