This postcard is a photogravure by Laura Gilpin that was published while she was in Colorado Springs . It is entitled "Navaho Indian Woman" and is from her Navaho Indian series. In my opinion these are among the most attractive of her photographs. It was almost certainly photographed in New Mexico. Like all of the Gilpin cards, it is printed on a cream-colored paper. The postcard is in excellent condition. The card is unused and the back is clean. This is one of the harder Gilpin series to find in my experience. I have scanned the card so that you can see the edges and corners. Please contact me if you have any questions. Colorado residents pay 7.5% sales tax. Postage/handling is $1.50. I will be happy to combine up to three cards for this price.
