This auction is for a sculpted metal lamp by the Laurel lamp company. It is very modern brutalist in nature and I have seen it attributed to Paul Evans on more than one occasion. The lamp is wonderfully executed and sits on a copper base. It has great heft and is obviously very well crafted. It does have some sort of finish on it that is black with specks of white, copper and green. At first glance I though someone had put it on after the fact but after closer inspection we concluded that it must have been purchased that way. It measures 38" tall and 14" at it's widest point.
