Laurel & Hardy Puppets. Two moulded foam latex puppet heads with clip for body attachment and synthetic hair at top of head. Hardy is approximately 17 in. high, has hand-operated mouth movement, wire-operated side to side eye movement, and pneumatic, blinking eyelids; there is a canvas bag hanging beneath the neck to hold mechanism wires. Minor surface dirt and wear from use; cracks in paint under chin, around eyes and at ears. Laurel is approximately 14 in. high, has hand-operated mouth movement and pneumatic, blinking eyelids. Surface dirt and wear from use; paint is cracking at right ear and around nose. The puppets are from `Spitting Image,` a popular British tv show from the 1980s and 90s that lampooned public figures.
