LAWN TENNIS OF TO-DAY: ITS STROKES, STRATEGY AND TACTICS by F R Burrow; 3rd and new edition of 1933 in small 8vo hardboards and spectacular dust-wrapper with 124 pages. The first edition was published in 1920. Burrow was the Wimbledon Referee for many years and an accomplished tennis player. His little book has 12 chapters and the laws of the game. The instructions to players on the various shots and tactics are clearly described. The book is in good condition; the image on the front of the highly decorative dust-wrapper is repeated on the front board. The dust-wrapper is a little chipped at the edges. The book measures 12.5cm x 18.5cm and it is offered postfree worldwide (airmail).
