Volumes I & II," by M.A. Racinet, Librairie de Firmin-Didot, Paris, 1888. Folio. Two Volumes of a Six Volume Set. French text. Signed by the previous owner, American painter, Charles Lennox Wright II. A signature and a description of the books appear in both volumes. Includes numerous color plates. Uniformly bound in black cloth with dark brown leather on the spines and corners. Some wear to the surfaces. Heavily rubbed edges, bumped corners. Volume I has a sturdy binding. Volume II has a cracked front joint and cracked hinges. Textblocks are good. Interior pages are free of markings, some scattered smudging. Library markings limited to a call number on the lower spine of Volume I.
