This is the EXTREMELY RARE Le Creuset Lilac Mist/ Pastel Purple/Lavender 3 1/2 QT Cast Iron Dutch Oven that was- seriously- made exclusively to be sold in the Japanese market as a Sukiyaki Pot and that is what it says on the box (see a photo). THIS IS NOT THE COLOR CASSIS. Absolutely the greatest pot for that Asian/Japanese cuisine so many are fond of. I actually would describe it as a rosotto pan/buffet server type dutch oven if describing it for American cooks. Describe it anyway you want to-it is absolutely beautiful, and a must have, if you are a lover of pastel purple or Le Creuset. It will be one of your favorite pieces-not only to use but to admire and know you have something most people don't and won't ever have. It does hold 3 1/2 Qt. and measures 9 1/2" in diameter without the handles. Including the handles it is 12 1/2" across. The pot measures 3 1/2" high without the lid-with the lid on stands approximately 5 1/2 " high. It would be perfect to cook and serve sukiyaki, rosottos, paellas, soups, casseroles, stews, or any other thing you would be inclined to make. This color coordinates beautifully with the Kiwi Green, White, or Dune colored Le Creuset.
