This is the EXTREMELY RARE and absolutely beautiful Le Creuset Red 2 -1/4 Qt, (2L) Flower Shaped Cast Iron Dutch Oven that is absolutely stunning. Set this in the middle of your table or display it on your kitchen counter and you are going to get rave reviews for your taste in cookware and cooking. This was a Japanese Exclusive item as evidenced by the label on the inside of the lid which is in Japanese.It does hold 2-1/4 Qt.(2 Liters) and measures 8"(20 cm) across the widest part of the flower (without the handles). Including the handles it is 9-1/2" (24 cm) across. The pot measures 3-1/2" (9 cm) high without the lid-with the lid on stands approximately 5-1/4" (14 cm) high.This does not come in it's box but has the original stickers on the side and bottom and comes with the 4 plastic bumpers and the Le Creuset Product pamphlet. Please keep in mind that all pieces of cast iron cookware could have a black "pepper fleck" in the paint, a tiny "dimple" in the cast iron, a dab of paint on the inside or outside that is of another color or shading could be different in one area or another--this is just normal for items that are hand cast and hand painted and are not considered defects at all, by the company or by the people that use them.
