Released as part of Disneyland Resorts Pin Trading Nights, this 5" wide by 4.5" tall jumbo pin showcases Sleeping Beauty's Castle arrayed in celebration of Disneyland's Happiest Homecoming on Earth 50th Anniversary.
This multilayered Pin-on-pin shows a light colored Castle, trimmed in lots of bright blue and gold, highlighted against a purple pastel sky. The Castle walls are also trimmed with several purple rhinestones, as is the large gold frame which surrounds the pin. Above the Castle Drawbridge and gate is a Mickey head crest with a gold "50" in recognition of Disneyland's golden year, as well as "Disneyland" on a small gold Banner directly below.
Pin release was to be 1500, but due to a very poorly organized sale, with hours-long lines, and many of the pins being returned with minor to major flaws and defects, it is doubtful the actual release was anyw near that number.
This very heavy and truly Beautiful Jumbo pin was released on June 26, 2005. It c omes with Original LE Disney 50th Decorative Pin Box (pictured). Thank you for Looking. Good Luck Bidding!!
