This gorgeous gelding was sculpted by equine artist Ann Harris, and was originally issued in a very small resin edition. Now you have the chance to own this beautiful horse as a Limited Edition detailed porcelain, with no more than 1000 pieces to be produced in this realistic shaded grey colorway (please see my other auctions for more stunning Lakeshore Collection horses). This beautiful horse is only available from a select network of dealers (including myself), and they have been VERY popular. If you show your model horses, you probably already know how well the original resin has performed in the showring. I have seen them shown successfully as a Thoroughbred, various Warmblood breeds, and Appendix Quarter Horse. The china version has been doing at least as well (or better), as he has all of the detail of the resin, shrunken down slightly (he stands about 8-1/2" tall, simular in scale to a Breyer "Traditional" model) due to the firing process, beautifully finished in a true-to-life color with gorgeous shading. Marshalls have been winning NAN cards and championships all over the US and Canada! This powerful sport gelding is brand new and in excellent condition with his original box and certificate.
