You are bidding on a beautifully bound volume of 24 issues of Le Monde Illustre from January 7 to June 24 1899. Included is beautiful and sought after cover by Alphonse Mucha as well as full color full page art by Paul Berthon and Henri Gerbault. Binding is tight with wear and bumping at bottom and top and on ribs, but leather and gold stamping is otherwise in good condition. Please ask if you need additional pictures. Boards have some minor loss on back and bottom and top (see pictures). These 24 issuers were at some point folded before being bound and all pages share the same loose crease which is clearly visible. Dozens of drawings and amazing advertisements in every issue.
