LEAF & BEADS " NORTHWOOD GREEN Carnival Glass Tri-corner Plate. This SCARCE and beautiful whimsied Plate was flattened from a Nut Bowl and then further whimsied by folding up 3 sides (corners). While the "Leaf & Beads" pattern adorns the exterior only, the interior is ablaze with iridescence. No damage. Remember that each piece of Glass was hand pressed, individually given an edge treatment and/or whimsied and sprayed with mineral salts (in the case of Carnival Glass) for a One-of-a-Kind uniqueness. If you pass on this piece, you will probably never find another exactly like it. Enjoy, King As is normal for Glass of this age, t may be "straw marks", air bubbles, inclusions (bits of ash in the glass), barbs (sharp points of glass), unformed sawteeth on edges, "freckles" of pooled iridescence, lopsidedness, uneven collar bases and other imperfections which were manufacturing norms for the time during which this glass was made.
