USE BUY IT NOW and I will pay the Postage Costs to you. Excluding Insurance! For your consideration is an Outstanding Firefighter's Helmet from Cairn's & Bros of Clifton New Jersey. This Leather Fire Helmet is a Rarer version of the Leather Fire Helmets Cairns Produced once they moved to NJ. This VOLUNTEER Model has a shorter Brim around it and the Extended Rear portion is shorter. This was kind of an Economy / less expensive Model made especially for the Volunteer Firefighters out t to make a Leather Fire Helmet more Affordable! I believe these were made/offered in the 1950's into the early 1970's; but I'm unsure of the exact dates??? Also the helmet brim Embossing is a Different Design than the standard 5A Helmet with Oak Leaves instead of that Swirling Arrow/leaf? design. Really Unique. THIS HELMET NEVER HAD a Front Shield Holder Installed.. It did have a helmet Front ID Shield and just the 4 original pin holes exist in the front leather panels w the helmet front was! You may want to leave this helmet like that or Install a Helmet Front Holder & a 6 Inch Front but neither are included! This Helmet Never had Bourkes Or a Chin Strap installed as well. These Volunteer Model Helmets are difficult to find and this helmet is in Very Good condition if not Excellent condition. On the Top of the Helmet Inside is The Red Cairns Clifton
