I already have one of these listed and I have just found this one in our cellar! It is pretty much identical to the other one, though with less tarnishing of the metal parts, nor is the flap quite so bent. It looks like it has never been used. There is also a small strap assembly with it - but I have absolutely no idea what that is for - please see photos. The description is otherwise exactly the same: This is a leather pouch from a set of army equipment but I have no idea of its age. I am no expert in these matters so all I can do is describe what I have in front of me and leave it to the experts out there to come to their own conclusions. I am assuming it is British. I have included a number of photos to help you to identify the item. There are no identifying marks that I can see. It is in pretty good condition, though the leather needs a good clean and the metal is a bit tarnished as you will see from the photos below. That is about all I can tell you. I don't even know if it is original or reproduction I'm afraid. I will happily answer any questions you may ask to the best of my ability, but as I said, I don't know about these things, so it can only be visual information that I can give.
