LECOULTRE ATMOS PERPETUAL MOTION CLOCK c1960 #122661 Presented is a wonderful quality Lecoultre Atmos perpetual motion clock. Like all Atmos clocks it winds itself with a small change in temperature or atmospheric pressure. A single temperature variation of one degree is sufficient for over two days of operation. Since such temperature changes occur regularly at normal room temperatures, the clock can run for years with no human intervention. Jaeger Lecoultre produced the first Atmos clocks in 1935. This clock has a brass and glass case with a white face and triangular pieces of brass for the chapters. The clock has a fifteen jewel movement. The clock has a serial number of 122361. This serial number indicates a production date between 1959 - 1961. The movement is marked Lecoultre & Cie Atmos Fifteen Jewels Switzerland. The face is marked Le Coultre Swiss. The locking mechanism is working well. T he bubble level is functioning and full of fluid. The clock is in excellent condition with no damage. This clock has been running on my desk for the past two months and it is keeping excellent time. Regardless, I do not guarantee anything mechanical. The glass is in great shape with no chips, no cracks, and no surface abrasions. The face is very clean. T are no breaks and no repairs. The clock measures 6 1/4 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 9 1/4 inches.
