LEE AND LONGSTREET AT HIGH TIDE by Helen D. Longstreet, 1904, 1st edition, 346 pages, good- condition, cover evenly browned, most of the half title page missing (where Mrs. Longstreet had signed it). Former owner’s bookplate inside front cover, morning envelope also attached to the inside front cover. Attached to the front free endpaper is a check to Mrs. Longstreet from W.A. Haggott that she has signed on the back and a typed letter to him sending the autographed copy of the book. The black bordered morning stationery goes in the envelope on the other page. The half title page is mostly missing, but someone has written a note saying that the autograph had been torn out by vandals. On the back of the frontis. Is another black border typed letter to Lieut. Gov. W.A. Haggott signed by Mrs. Longstreet. On the title page W.A. Haggott has signed his name.
