Lee Enfield Rifle No.4 Mk1 New Unissued Complete Stock Set . Walnut . All components are included, buttstock, forend, front and rear handguards. They need a coat of boiled linseed oil. All metal caps have nice black parkerizing finish. This stock set has never been put on a rifle, so the butt stock needs a little filing to fit the reciever, and the front top cover bottome needs to be filed down some so the front barrel band fits. I cleaned the long term storage grease from them myself. Stocks sets like this are hard to find new, and will make your Classic Lee Enfield look like NEW. You can resell your old wood very easy. Original New Old Stock (Inventory) . (Please Note: this is for the Mk 1 version with the trigger mounted on the trigger guard. The forend is not cut thru, like on the Mk2 version , w the trigger is mounted to the reciever. See picture of the page from Ian Skinnertons Lee Enfield Book showing the difference between Mk1 & Mk2. See my photo of the two forends, Mk 1 on right, Mk2 on left showing missing wood and showing the transvers screw instead of the flat metal reinforcing bracket.
