I am offering an original matched set of Australian Sniper mounts for an SMLE 303 No.1 Mk111. They are in very good used original condition. These mounts were used on the Australian No.1 Mk 111 H.T. Sniper rifle in service from 1944 until the 1960s. Documented use in WW11 and Korea. According to Ian Skennerton these mounts used fixing screws from the butt trap spring of an SMLE, I have tried one and they fit perfectly. I do not have the screws, rings or scope though I have seen several sets offered for sale recently. In forty years of collecting I have not seen mounts offered for sale, they are about as scarce as snake legs. These mounts will fit both high and low ring sets.
