Welcome to another great week of auctions! This week I will have mostly lighthouses and JTRS collectible shoes, with a few other items also to liven things up a bit! This auction is for an INCREDIBLE LEFTON Five Finger, Alaska, 10" hand painted Lighthouse with uninstalled light and cord to give it a truely authentic look. This is the 8th in the Historic American Lighthouse Collection Limited Edition Series, Number 0666 out of only 7500 EVER made! Five Finger Light Station was located in the northerly part of Frederick Sound in Alaska. The 49 foot frame tower, with a 4th order lens, rose from the end of a two-story dwelling that had its fog signal facility attached. Helicopters landed on a nearby platform bringing in supplies and personnel. In 1931 the station was fitted with a radio beacon. It is new, has never been displayed, and is still in its original box.
