This is a signed/limited edition of He Is Legend, An Anthology Celebrating Richard Matheson. It was published in 2009 by Gauntlet, and was edited by Christopher Conlon. This copy is in fine condition, and comes with the optional beveled leather slipcase and the cardstock cover flat. It is #317 of 750 copies produced.The book is notable for a few reasons. First, its simple existence celebrating Matheson, who is as well known for his original fiction as for his screenplays. Although his screenplays aren't the focus here, he was the writer for many of the key Twilight Zone episodes, for the Kolchak: The Night Stalker television movies, for many of the best of the Vincent Price movies of the 1960s (including the legendary comedy The Raven) and for Trilogy of Terror, with the famed Zuni fetish doll sequence. Also, this marks the first professional collaboration between Stephen King and his extremely talented son, Joe Hill. Also, while the screenplays aren't the focus, there is an unpublished screenplay by Matheson here, co-written with his dear friend Charles Beaumont for the story "Conjure Wife", which was a novel written by their mutual friend Fritz Leiber - a chance for fans to see where screenplays deviate from the eventual filmed projects.From the back:Just say the name and the memories come flooding back - Somewhere in Time, Duel,
