** ** ** Vintage Classic Pirates Lego 6276 Eldorado Fortress (1989) ** ** ** All pieces and the ORIGINAL instruction manual are included. NOTES:Hands down the coolest of all the pirate large baseplate sets. This set is basically a large castle, but within the pirate theme framework. It's very intricate and absolutely beautiful in person. I want to LIVE in this set--it's highly prized with good reason. There is some variation in the shading of the bricks from age and sun exposure, as well as scratches, grime (for example the white arches and several small slopes), and scuff marks from playwear and being stored with other toys over the years but other than that the set looks wonderful. The top clip on the large blue and white cross cannon flag is broken but the bottom clip is still intact so the flag was able to grip the black lance. But both clips on the small blue and white flag are intact. The torsos on the minifigs look pretty good as well. The raised base plate is in great shape with no warping or damaged studs, cracks, or chipped edges. It just has a few scuff marks and yellowing, but the yellowing is minor and is relegated to one area of the baseplate. Overall this set looks great and you should buy this set because you will not be disappointed! This set also comes with the original manual. The original manual is a little worn the pages are crinkled and the bottom portion where the pages are attached look like they were burned at some point. The front page was glued to the second page of the manual as well so there is a tear where the manual had to be opened to build it. The edges of the pages are also worn as well as the pages having stains and spots.The front page has obivious stains, but all that being said the manual is complete and we used it to build this set. You know you've always wanted this set--here's your chance to finally own it!! It is a great companion set to the other pirate sets we are selling this week! If the set includes white, blue, or grey pieces (in particular), some are probably yellowed from exposure and the set is almost surely a little dusty from storage, but that's how you know it's the real deal. U.S. buyers can pick from weight-based or flat rate Priority Mail, so tell us which one you prefer when you ask for an invoice. Weight-based will probably be cheaper for West Coast buyers and flat rate is probably cheaper for everyone else. If you buy lots and lots of sets, we're probably going to have to ship by weight-based because they don't make large enough flat rate boxes.
