Super rare, retired, hard to find LEGO Sculptures STATUE OF LIBERTY set, BRAND NEW IN BOX!!! This set was purchased in 2002 from the Legoland in Orlando Florida. A few years later, as so frequently happens with legos the factory seals began loosening and clear packing tape was placed over them. The box has shelf wear and a little crushing on one end. (see photos) Today I very carefully cut through the packing tape and seals on one side of the box so I could verify the condition of the four interior boxes. The adhesive used on the interior boxes has loosened as well. The glue is present but no longer holds the boxes closed, and box 2 and 4 have a little crushing. (see photos) I didn't touch any of the BRAND NEW, PERFECTLY SEALED, MINT polybags. I just photographed everything that was visible without disturbing the actual contents.From a pet and smoke free home!!
