This set comes with the original manual but not the box. It was put together and mostly just displayed for a while before being put into storage for a number of years. Was mixed in with other sets, but I have checked to make sure that all the parts are the correct ones for this set. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask.The set was recently rebuilt to check that all pieces are accounted for and are in good condition. Some pieces may be a little dusty, but that is easily remedied with an air duster and/or a dry toothbrush. The set will be disassembled and all the pieces carefully placed in ziploc bags to prevent any pieces from escaping. The package I ship it in will also be carefully taped so none of the edges are open. I understand I am only human and by their very nature legos have a lot of small pieces, so if for some reason you believe you are missing pieces when the set arrives or they are not in the condition you expect, please contact me before leaving feedback so I may attempt to remedy the situation, either by hunting down the missing pieces myself or by offering a partial refund if I am unable to obtain them and send them your way. Please also note that in a number of construction manuals, grays and black are often difficult to differentiate, so carefully check the colors before assuming pieces are missing
