LEGO ULTIMATE COLLECTOR SERIES STAR WARS X-WING STARFIGHTER STORE DISPLY Inside the thick acrylic case is an actual # 7181 X-WING STARFIGHTER LEGO kit that was built by the experts at LEGO Meticulously cut in half and affixed to a mirrored back. The mirror reflects the 1/2 X-Wing and makes it look like a full X-Wing. The case is designed to be screwed down to the store shelf. Four screws hold the clear acrylic case onto the base that holds the X-Wing. To open, remove the four screws and lift the acrylic cover straight up. If you want to remove the X-Wing for micro-cleaning, there are two more screws on the back that go through a metal plate. The X-Wing is glued together, but some parts can be removed (like the wings) without much trouble for easier micro-cleaning. Not that the case is dusty inside - it is not; but if you want it perfect - you know what you need to do. The item is VERY HEAVY and as such we prefer local pickup; however, if you want it shipped you must notify us 48 hours before end of auction so we can calculate the shipping and insurance charges for your respective location.
