I present to you this fantastic tall cameo etched back vase circa 1900. It is unsigned, but w "L & Cie" was often gilded, on the right side bottom of shoulder, it looks like it was scrubbed off through the years. The piece has an elongated neck with a naturalist floral decoration on a bottle form. It stands 10 inches tall. The neck varies from 1 inches to 3/4 inch back to 1 inch. The bottom is approximately 3 inches x 4 inches or 12 inches around.

All the thistle etchings are smooth to the touch. The unusually pale amethyst glass has a fiery opal color with the darker shade below, acid etching gives a frosted apearance to the background. The impact is enhanced by the thistles climbing up the elongated neck.

It is in great condition with no scratches, chips or repairs.
