Made in the early part of the 20th century ( 1910-20 ) by the Legras company as part of their Mont Joye line, this wonderful emerald green to clear crystal vase. It has a fire polished rim with gold embellishment a ground pontil and heavy enameled flowers. It stands 10" high and is 4 3/4" at the rim and the base. T are 12 optic ribs that run straight till just under the rim then they twist to form a beautiful pattern.The pontil is ground and it bears the letter C in red enamel and the # 16 in white enamel, standard markings for this type of French art glass. The condition is excellent. T is no loss of enamel to the extensive floral motif that just about surrounds this gorgeous vase. T is slight loss of gold to the rim which is to be expected with age. T are no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs of any kind. Similar vases have sold for $1000.00 or more. Note: This item will be boxed and packaged with the greatest of care.
